Chelsea in Bloom 2026 x Hästens
Each year, Chelsea in Bloom transforms the streets of Chelsea into a celebration of floral artistry, creativity, and craftsmanship. Running alongside the world renowned Chelsea Flower Show, the festival invites leading brands, retailers, and designers to create immersive floral installations inspired by a shared theme. In 2026, that theme was Out of This World, encouraging participants to explore ideas of wonder, imagination, and the extraordinary.
For this year’s festival, Hayton Posey was delighted to collaborate with Hästens, the iconic Swedish luxury bedmaker renowned for creating some of the world’s finest handmade beds. Together, we developed a concept that interpreted the theme through the lens of rest, comfort, and dreamlike escape.
Our design centred on the idea of floating among the clouds. A sculptural crescent moon, handcrafted entirely from white hydrangeas and delicate seasonal florals, emerged from within the store window. Below, an abundant cloud inspired floral landscape flowed across the exterior planter, creating a seamless connection between the interior display and the streetscape beyond. The all white palette was intentionally chosen to evoke calm, softness, and the feeling of drifting into a peaceful night’s sleep.
The installation was designed not only to capture attention during the festival, but also to reflect the values shared by both brands. For Hästens, exceptional sleep is an experience that transports you to another world. For Hayton Posey, flowers have the power to transform a space and create an emotional connection through beauty, atmosphere, and storytelling.
From the initial sketches and creative development through to installation day, every element was carefully considered and handcrafted by our floral team. The result was a striking yet understated display that celebrated the spirit of Chelsea in Bloom while remaining true to the timeless elegance of the Hästens brand.
