For over five years, Hayton Posey has been a trusted floral partner to Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, creating bespoke floral experiences for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations. What began with the florals for an Indian wedding grew organically into a long-standing relationship with the hotel’s Events team. Just two weeks after that first wedding, the team invited us to create florals for another event, and within nine months, Hayton Posey was officially added to the hotel’s supplier list. Today, we are the leading florist on the list for corporate events and celebrations.
Our relationship has grown beyond florals. Working closely with the hotel’s Events team and their clients, we provide everything from bespoke floral design and large-scale installations to dancefloor builds, AV, furniture hire, balloons and bespoke event details, including custom napkins and cakes. This allows us to act as a trusted extension of the hotel team, providing a seamless service while maintaining the high standards expected within a five-star environment.
One of our most memorable projects was an international wedding for a Canadian client who planned their entire celebration remotely. With 300 guests across a ceremony, sit-down dinner and after-party, the entire event was designed and coordinated through emails, phone calls and video meetings. The couple did not see the venue in person until their wedding day, placing complete trust in our team to guide them through every detail. The result was an event that exceeded their expectations.
Working at The Shard also requires exceptional logistical precision. The building operates with carefully managed shared loading facilities, and deliveries are coordinated to ensure smooth access for all tenants. Our years of experience at the venue have given us an in-depth understanding of its loading procedures, access routes, elevators, corridors and installation requirements. This knowledge allows our team to anticipate needs, plan precisely and deliver every installation on schedule.
